Mid-South Pride in partnership with the Overton Park Shell, are proud to announce the rescheduled date for the 50th Memphis Pride Fest: Sunday, September 14, from 2–8 PM at the historic Overton Park Shell.

After an unprecedented weather cancellation in June, the organization are grateful to bring this milestone event to life in a new location—rooted in community spirit and surrounded by the heart of Memphis.

Memphis Pride Fest has always been more than a stage or a parade. It’s a tradition shaped by decades of advocacy, artistry, and shared presence. This year, the celebration continues with an all-local entertainment lineup, an open-air vendor marketplace, and standout performances from Memphis’ own drag talent—each bringing a unique voice to the stage.

“This moment matters—not just because it’s our 50th, but because of everything it took to get here,” said Vanessa Rodley, President of Mid-South Pride. “We’re meeting that history with joy, with momentum, and with a lineup that reflects the full range of our community. Memphis is rich with talent, and this festival is one way we showcase it all—boldly and without compromise.”

The Overton Park Shell Stage, presented by Music City PrEP, will showcase a full day of music, dance, and performance:

Important Reminders:

  • Respect the Park: Overton Park and the Overton Park Shell is a shared public space with deep roots in Memphis history. Please help us take care of the grounds, pick up after yourself, and be mindful of the space we’re gathering in. No parking blocking neighbors driveways such as Kenilworth Street and Overton Park Avenue. Additionally, no parking on Overton Park grass.
  • Plan Your Trip: Parking is very limited in the area. We strongly encourage ridesharing, biking, or public transportation to make your experience smoother. Entry into the Memphis Zoo will be off McLean Avenue only.
  • There will be a one-way traffic pattern of circulation in the Park. Cars should enter at Poplar and Veterans Plaza Drive, move counter-clockwise through Overton Park, and exit onto Poplar at Tucker Street. A rideshare dropoff point will be located at Veterans Plaza and Golf Drive, in front of the golf clubhouse.
