Memphis Area Community Redevelopment Association to Host FREE Community Resource Fair Oct. 22

Fair will focus on affordable housing, education, healthcare and small business resources 

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, October 22, at the Commons, 258 N. Merton Street, the Memphis Area CRA will host a Community Resource Fair.

The Community Connections Resource Fair is a free event open to the public. The aim of Resource Fair is to connect Memphis residents with  community partners with information on services and resources in the areas of affordable housing, education, small business and healthcare.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided, along with door prizes and giveaways.

Exhibitors include BLDG Memphis, Tennessee Small Business Development Center, Frayser CDC, Frayser Connect (which includes Epicenter Memphis and RISE Foundation), Porter Leath, Blight Authority of Memphis, Greater Memphis Financial Empowerment Center, Binghampton Community Land Trust and more.

“Delivering opportunities like this to people and communities in need is what we are here for,” said Memphis CRA President Brady Wamble. “Our main goal is equipping and empowering people to believe in their own future.”

Formed in 2017, Memphis Area Community Reinvestment Act Association (Memphis Area CRA) addresses the economic needs of low- to moderate-income individuals and families in Memphis and Shelby County.
