The Brennan Center for Justice has released projections for the number of murders in the largest cities in the U.S.   The Center at New York University School of Law is a nonpartisan law and policy institute that seeks to improve our systems of democracy and justice.

The following are its projections.

Percent Change in Number of Murders – 2017 compared to 2016:
