CONNECTING PEOPLE & TRANSIT USING TECHNOLOGY

Thursday, September 24, 2015 | 6:30 – 8:30 pm Lost Pizza Company, 2855 Poplar Avenue

An informal evening with TransLoc transit appmakers,

MATA, and the Mayor’s Institute for Excellence in Government Innovation Team.

***

TransLoc will introduce its Memphis real-time bus arrival app, then lead a lively panel discussion about the links between people, transit, and technology.

How can MATA get and use feedback about where people want to go?

What if transit drivers could pickup riders on demand using an app?

Should private services pick up people, in partnership with transit,
in
hard-to-serve areas?

How can technology help public transit serve all of usbetter,
faster and possibly cheaper?

Free to the public and pizza provided.

Seating is limited – 55 seats available.

Register to save your spot.  memphis.uli.org/event/connecting-people-transit-using-technology
