It’s too cold to shop this weekend and there’s a heat wave coming, so save up your grocery shopping list for next Tuesday when it will be 45 degrees.

On that day at Whole Foods Market, 5% of the day’s net sales will benefit one of our local favorites, Project Green Fork.

Margot McNeeley is a regular contributor to this blog, but more than that, she’s doing great work in helping civic-minded restaurants reduce their environmental impact.    Due to her enthusiasm and her persuasion, Ms. McNelley has accomplished a lot in a short time, but in this tough economic times, all nonprofit groups need financial support.
