Maybe you could put boundary lines around the area representing the 1970 city limits of Memphis to give people a better understanding about the whole shrinking city mantra you’ve touched on several times.
I never realized how much land we have annexed into the city limits within that timeline since the 70s (I was born in the 80s, by the way).
