I’d like to repeat a key point that Scott made at the rally on Friday- “Every citizen of Memphis should recognize the value and importance of a good public transit system to the city, and to the city’s ability to attract young professionals to consider job opportunities here. We need to continue to work to improve MATA. MATA’s plans developed for using the funds from the gas tax are just the first step.”
